First experimental campaign (April 2015)

First day (Buoy imitator) - Experimental setup at seaside:

  • helix antenna (black antenna on the pole with yellow tripod): radar antenna, receiving reflections from the target
  • GPS antenna (white semisphere antenna on the silver tripod): heterodyne antenna, receiving direct signal from the satellite
  • Green box (below the laptop): two channel super-heterodyne receiver
  • Laptop: connected to Green box with USB cable for data recording

  

Second day (Balloon imitator) - Experimental setup at hill top:
